Together with Green Cargo the retail giant COOP has moved a large amount of goods from road to rail. Coop is the first food retailer in Sweden to transfer such a large quantity of truck shipments onto trains.

From November 2 Norway is also included in our extensive intermodal network of environmentally friendly transportation of standardized containers.

You are now reading the first issue of Green Cargo's news letter. We aim to publish 4 times per year and will send it to customers, journalists, freight forwarders, logistics consultants and others we believe can have benefit in knowing more about Green Cargo. Green Cargo has many customers with freight between Scandinavia and continental Europe, but we are confident that we can play a larger role here in the future.

Green Cargo is a nationwide logistics company which holds major responsibility for ensuring that our society continues to function. We deal with industrial production, import and export, the food industry, communications such as mail deliveries and fuel for the aviation industry. Therefore, we have worked hard to ensure that our operations are affected as little as possible even if a lot of our staff are off sick from work.
