Mikael Stöhr in place as CEO of Green Cargo

Mikael Stöhr has now taken over as CEO of the Green Cargo Group. He has an industrial background which is complemented with international experience from the Swedish Trade Council. He will lead the Group with its core business of rail transports, a service which is in great demand.
“Since the recession began, Green Cargo has successfully managed to cut costs. It is now time to start growing again, and we will do so with improved profitability. It is very inspiring to take over the helm for Green Cargo on the very same day we have started operations between Sweden and two industrial centers in Germany,” says Mikael Stöhr.

Mikael Stöhr will initially spend a great deal of time meeting employees around the country, as well as meeting with customers and other stakeholders.

“I am entering a business that has coped with challenges from both the economy and nature. Day-to-day operations function well at Green Cargo now, which gives me the opportunity to get to know the company and our customers better.”

Mikael Stöhr emphasizes that he is not entering the business with any set solutions, but he is convinced that Green Cargo will improve its ability to understand what customers want of the company.

“Being a Green Cargo customer must be easy and beneficial. If we are successful in this area, Green Cargo’s profitability will improve,” says Mikael Stöhr.
