Punctual transportation for increased customer satisfaction
Green Cargo defines delivery punctuality to customers as “loaded wagons to customers within the appointed hour.” To achieve a high level of punctuality, we follow up on our train punctuality internally through systematic inspections and follow-up on preparing trains in time for departures and arrivals.
We transport goods in a network that stretches over all of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. We can reach thousands of destinations in Europe together with our partners. Our resources – approximately 1,900 employees, 360 locomotives and 5,000 wagons – make it possible.
Punctuality is important for us and we conduct continuous quality initiatives and measurements during the year. In 2021, delivery punctuality to customers was 87.1 percent. We are not satisfied with this. The goal we are striving for is 95 percent.
In addition to internal reasons, such as staffing shortages, the company has been affected by external factors such as difficult weather conditions, deficiencies in infrastructure and the Swedish Transport Administration's introduction of a new planning system, MPK (Market Adapted Capacity Planning).
