Severe Weather Warning – Swedish Transport Administration Extends Traffic Disruption

A new rainstorm is expected to move into the areas in northern Sweden that are already affected.
As a result, the Swedish Transport Administration has announced that the traffic disruption will be extended.

Extended Traffic Disruption:

• Botnia Line / Ådalen Line: The entire stretch between Sundsvall and Umeå.
• Main Line through Upper Norrland: The stretches Långsele–Bräcke and Långsele–Backe.

The extended traffic disruption is in effect until Friday, September 12 at 15:00.

Previously affected areas:

• Sollefteå/Långsele–Västeraspby
• Main Line through Upper Norrland: Långsele–Vännäs
• Ådalen Line / Botnia Line: Kramfors/Sundsvall–Västeraspby–Harasjön

The forecast for the previously affected areas remains unchanged until Monday at 15:00.
