The Swedish Transport Administration extends traffic suspension on two affected routes in Northern Sweden

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) has extended the forecasted reopening dates for two of the affected routes in Västernorrland – Sollefteå/Långsele–Västeraspby and the Main Line through Upper Norrland: Långsele–Vännäs.

New forecasted reopening times from the Swedish Transport Administration:

  • Sollefteå/Långsele–Västeraspby – September 19, at 15:00
  • Main Line through Upper Norrland: Långsele–Vännäs – September 26, at 15:00
  • Ådalsbanan/Botniabanan: Kramfors/Sundsvall–Västeraspby–Harasjön – September 15, at 15:00 (unchanged)

Routes reopening as planned today, Friday September 12 at 15:00:

  • Långsele–Backe
  • Långsele–Bräcke

 

Green Cargo continues to invoke Force Majeure for traffic affected by this disruption.

The shipping ban introduced on September 9 remains in effect until further notice.
