New Dates for Reopening of Closed Railway Sections in Northern Sweden

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) will reopen the Sollefteå/Långsele–Västeraspby section today, September 24 at 19:00, which is earlier than planned. Additionally, the Holmån/Långsele–Vännäs section on the Main Line Through Upper Norrland is expected to reopen already on October 2 at 15:00. These earlier reopenings improve the situation, but we will continue to face challenges and limitations with our transports to and from Northern Sweden.

Trafikverket’s daytime track maintenance on the Bothnia Line, which is expected to continue until October 6 (forecast), between Nacksta and Västeraspby, limits our ability to operate transports to the extent the situation requires.

Green Cargo’s shipping ban remains in effect.
