Update: Storm Dave continues to affect train traffic across major parts of Sweden

The storm Dave has now eased, but the consequences remain significant, and forecasts for when train services can return to normal are still uncertain.

Trafikverket has begun inspections of the railway network and is continuously identifying infrastructure damage that requires repairs. As a result, forecasts remain uncertain; hence train traffic is planned and adjusted in line with ongoing assessments. There is a risk that current service suspensions may be extended.

Ongoing disruptions and current forecast:

Eastern Sweden

  • Linköping – Rimforsa: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 07:00
  • Bjärka-Säby – Västervik: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 07:00

Southern Sweden

  • Berga – Hultsfred: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 05:00
  • Landeryd – Furet: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 05:00
  • Nässjö – Vetlanda: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 05:00
  • Nässjö – Värnamo – Landeryd: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 05:00
  • Jönköping – Vaggeryd: Traffic stopped until April 7 at 05:00
  • Teckomatorp – Helsingborg: Traffic stopped until 12:00, Tuesday 7 April

Western Sweden

  • Kinnekulle Line: Traffic stopped until 23:59, Monday 6 April
  • Nässjö – Jönköping – Falköping: No forecast available at present
  • Gothenburg – Stenungsund – Uddevalla: Traffic stopped until 23:59, Tuesday 7 April
  • Öxnered – Ed: Traffic stopped until 23:59, Tuesday 7 April
