Green Cargo’s role

The transportation sector accounts for about 30 percent of carbon dioxide emissions in Sweden today. Transferring road freight to rail freight is an important solution and the key to sustainable logistics is in collaboration between different forms of transportation. Rail freight should be chosen when possible and connected with other forms of transportation when needed. Our operations allow Swedish enterprise to reduce its impact on the climate and environment, helping it achieve this SDG.
