Industrial action in Swedish harbors averted

Today, the Dockworkers' Union (Hamnarbetarförbundet) announced that the advance warning of industrial action in the Port of Helsingborg and Gothenburg RoRo Terminal will not come into effect on Thursday. This also applies to the advance warning of industrial action in the Ports of Halland, APM Terminals Gothenburg, and SCA Logistics in Holmsund. Green Cargo is now working to restore regular operation while minimizing customer impact.

The union delegation has received an offer considered sufficient to bring forward to the union members for a vote which is expected to conclude on Monday 10th of July.

Green Cargo is now working at full speed to restore regular operation with minimal customer impact. However, some disruptions are to be expected where train schedules have been altered in preparation for the strike.
