Continued rail traffic stop north of Vännäs until January 7 at 12:00

Due to the continued severe cold with low temperatures up in the northern parts of the country, Green Cargo has decided, with regard to the working environment for our employees and the functionality of our vehicles, on a continued traffic stop north of Vännäs to the Norweigan border. Planned start of our traffic is currently set for 12:00, Sunday, January 7. Please note that the forecast may change depending on how the temperature in the area develops.

Green Cargo is currently prevented from running the traffic affected by the severe cold north of Vännäs and invokes Force Majeure for this traffic.

Green Cargo is following the developments closely and is preparing for the resumption of traffic as soon as this is possible and will also review the possibility of running extra trains.
