Forestry & chemicals

Our services in Forestry include transporting forest products such as timber, pulpwood, wood chip, biofuel, cellulose, paper pulp, paper, recycled paper and sawn wood products. Most of the volumes are exported to Europe and, through ports, to the rest of the world.

Paper mills and sawmills, which need to transport large volumes every day, fit well into Green Cargo’s network. Large, regular flows are shipped in unique freight transportation arrangements. Within the chemicals segment, we also transport chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide and sulfur products.

Transportation solutions are based on customer needs, where volume, frequency, wagon and load-carrier solutions are components that impact how the logistics solution is designed. When all the included components work together, it creates cost-efficient, stable and punctual shipments, which comprises an important element of the customer’s entire distribution chain.
