Working as a course developer

Meet our colleague Jerker, who works as a teacher and course developer at our Production School. He started his career in the railways in the 1990s. He talks about his roles, career development and why he enjoys working at Green Cargo.

Meet Jerker, who started his career in the railways in the 1990s. Over the years, he has had a rewarding career within various roles. Jerker currently works as an instructor and course developer at our Production School and serves as an employee representative on the company’s board.

Jerker began as a marshalling yard operator, and quickly ended up in the Tower as marshalling leader and marshalling operator. He then worked as a staff allocator and ended up in Operations Management. After this, an opportunity arose for him to develop himself as a train driver, which in turn brought him to the Production School where he works today.
